The Chancers

Risteárd Ó Mórdha, born and reared in Dublin, Ireland & Patrick Dillon of Chicago, IL.

The lads bring Irish folk and rebel tunes to life at any venue, singing in both English and Irish (As Gaeilge). You can expect wit, humour, and an Irish history lesson along the way – all brought to you in the form of a lively musical act.

The Boils

Three of Chicago's best Irish trad musicians came together in 2005 to form The Boils, a high-energy trio delivering a potent blend of jigs, reels and songs. Featuring Jim Conway on harmonica and tin whistle, Jack Callahan on guitar and vocals, and Mike Austin on bodhran and percussion, The Boils combine their deep respect for tradition with contemporary interpretations, reflecting their Irish-American heritage.

Small Batch

Acoustic guitar, traditional bodhran, Irish fiddle, and lush harmonies: this is the heart-warming recipe used by Jim and Patty Rielley of  Small Batch to entertain festival crowds, pub-goers, private parties and hooleys of all sorts. With a repertoire that includes traditional drinking and story songs of Ireland, rousing jigs and reels, and a touch of American acoustic favorites,

The Dirty Wellies

The Dirty Wellies is a trad Irish band based in the Chicago area. Their style and love of traditional Irish tunes and songs has carried the band to festivals, concerts, and a variety of private and public performances. Modern tunes and twists have come into the repertoire along the way, but the focus remains trad.

Larkin and Moran Brothers

The Larkin and Moran Brothers started in 2002 when young Kevin Moran joined brother Terry and the Larkin Brothers; Dan, Mike and Joe, and altered their previous life as the Larkin Brothers and Terry Moran.

It was said to be a tactic by Terry to gain a blood ally against the Larkin's- who at the time ironically found difficulty in not killing each other. But really it was suggested by Mike Larkin to replace Mike Murphy on bass as he left for a short period to start his band 'Leave'. When Murph returned he opted to play mandolin and the one time folk quartet became a full fledge Celtic rock band.
