We are excited for another fantastic Naperville St. Patrick's Day Parade! This year, the parade boasts 102 entries and 30 years of tradition. With 10,000+ spectators expected in person on Saturday, March 15, and many more tuning in via Naperville Community Television (NCTV-17), it’s set to be a celebration to remember. The parade will step off at 10:00 AM from Naperville North High School—don’t miss it.

WSI St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Inclement Weather Procedure
The West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade is ON as scheduled. We are closely monitoring the weather in coordination with the City of Naperville. The current forecast calls for a windy 67 day. Please dress for the weather. In the event of a delay or any changes, WSI will communicate updates via wsirish.org and our Facebook page. Stay tuned and get ready for some shenanigans.
Important Information to be Shared with Your Entire Group
- This year, we’ll honor Kevin Dolan, founder of the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We’ll present the inaugural Kevin Dolan Founder’s Award to the entry that best embodies the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day.
- On parade day, report to Naperville North High School (NNHS) between 8:30 and 9:15 AM for staging.
- Every parade driver must present a valid driver's license before entering the Staging Area.
- Any vehicle not listed on your registration WILL NOT be accommodated on parade day. DO NOT have them enter the Staging Area.
- Please refer to the attached for designated parking areas and parade lineup number.
- Communicate your specific parade lineup number with your parade group members, and share this entire packet with them.
- Walking participants must be dropped off on the north side of NNHS. Temporary parking is available. After the parade, parking is available on Hillside near NCHS for marcher pick-up.
- Our volunteers, wearing lime green shirts, will be available to direct you to your lineup spot.
- For safety reasons:
- Throwing candy is NOT permitted. Candy can be handed to spectators or placed in their bags.
- Climbing in and out of vehicles once the parade has started is PROHIBITED.
- Keep moving during the parade, and comply with event management and law enforcement.
- Stay hydrated. If you are experiencing health issues, notify a volunteer, event staff person, or EMT.
- DO NOT STOP OR DISPERSE before the end of the parade which is inside the NCHS parking lot.
