Call for Irish Fest Volunteers

The West Suburban Irish needs volunteers to help put on this year's Irish Fest. A two-day event on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21, 2024 at Naperville's Central Park located in Downtown Naperville.

The quality of Irish Fest depends entirely on the people who give their time to make it happen. Being a volunteer is more
than lending a hand, it’s the crucial role that makes the Fest an event to look forward to. See a list of the volunteer roles below.

Why volunteer at Naperville Irish Fest?

  • Have fun with your friends while supporting the WSI in a warm and festive atmosphere.
  • Help a local charity! WSI will make a $25 contribution to one of five local non-profit organizations on your behalf.
  • You get FREE entry into Naperville Irish Fest on the day of your shift.
  • You get a nifty Irish Fest volunteer t-shirt.
  • Chip away at your community service hours goal.

Volunteer & Help a Local Charity at the Same Time!

New this year! As a thank you for volunteering your time to the Naperville Irish Fest, WSI will make a $25 contribution on your behalf to one of the five local non-profit organizations listed below. You can select which charities will receive the contribution when you sign up to volunteer for Friday, September 20 or Saturday, September 21!

Institute of Traditional Irish Music (formerly known as Murphy Roche Irish Music Club). Since 1997, the non-profit Institute of Traditional Irish Music, has welcomed musicians of all ages and skill levels who perform, want to learn, or just enjoy Irish traditional music.

The Naperville Area Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit limited admission animal shelter for dog and cat adoption, foster care, and owner surrenders serving the western suburbs of Chicago.

St. Patrick’s Residence is a nonprofit, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation senior community, which is served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm.

The ALIVE Center empowers teens to be resilient and impassioned through a peer mentoring model. The ALIVE Center is an award winning nonprofit in Illinois that offers after-school and over the summer centers for teens. The Alive Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and relies on donations from the community to run its many free programs and satellites.

Loaves & Fishes Community Services is a registered 501(c)3 organization that has served our community since 1984. Its mission is to provide healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency. Loaves & Fishes is a collaborative community effort focused on making a difference in the lives of our neighbors. Within its facility, Loaves & Fishes is supported by over 1,500 volunteers.
